Before you use
  • 1REMOVE RESIDUE
    • Remove any loose paint or powdery residue with a stiff fiber brush under running water or a high pressure water jet.
  • 2TREAT AFFECTED AREAS
    • Use Dulux Fungicidal Wash (A980-19260) on mould, lichen, algae or moss.
  • 3ENSURE DRY WALL
    • Ensure the wall is dry (Protimeter ≤ 16%) before painting.
  • 4CLEAN SURFACE
    • Surface must be clean, dry, and free from defects, dirt, grease or wax.
Recommended Painting System:

Prepare with one coat of Dulux Weathershield Primer / Sealer and overcoat with minimum two coats of Dulux Weathershield Powerflexx™ / Dulux Weathershield™;.

Problem 1
High-pressured water jetting (1,500 psi) is compulsory. Dry, then 1 coat Dulux Weathershield Primer Adhesion Promoting (A579-15222) before 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield Powerflexx™ / Dulux Weathershield™.
Problem 2
High-pressured water jetting (1,500 psi) is compulsory. Dry, then 1 coat Dulux Primer Adhesion before 2 coats.
Problem 3
Jet wash to remove algae/fungus. Dry, treat with Dulux Fungicidal Wash (A980-19260), then apply 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield Powerflexx™ / Dulux Weathershield™.
Problem 4
Ensure thoroughly dry. Apply 1 coat Dulux Weathershield Sealer Alkali Resisting (A931-18177), then 2 coats.

A clean and dry surface must be prepared with one coat of Dulux Weathershield Primer / Sealer and overcoat with minimum two coats of Dulux Weathershield Dulux Powerflexx / Dulux Weathershield

High-pressure water jetting recommended. Dry, then 1 coat Dulux Weathershield Primer™, followed by 2–3 coats of Dulux Inspire™ Exterior.
Problem 2
High-pressure jet, dry, then 1 coat Dulux Weathershield Primer™, then 2–3 coats of Dulux Inspire™ Exterior.
Problem 3
Remove growth with high-pressure water. Dry, treat with Dulux Fungicidal Wash (A980-19260). Optionally 1 coat Dulux Weathershield Primer, then 2–3 coats of Dulux Inspire™ Exterior.
Problem 4
Ensure thoroughly dry. Apply 1 coat Dulux Exterior & Dulux Interior Wall Sealer or Dulux Weathershield Sealer, then 2–3 coats of Dulux Inspire™ Exterior.
